Here is one of the ultimate Corvettes. A true L88. These Corvettes were rated at 435HP, but really had about 550HP. These were special order COPO units and to keep people from using them on the street, you could not order a radio with it. Only 80 L88's were built in 1968, making these some of the most desirable Corvettes out there.

It's always nice to inspect a real high performance boat. Larry Smith was the designer of the Legendary Scarab Off Shore Race Boat. This particular one was his own personal boat and featured a pair of staggered 652 cubic inch motors, each one with two Whipple supercargers sitting on top and each one putting out 1050 horsepower! The boat ws capable of over 170 mph on the water!!

Testimonial for what Classic Auto Appraiser can do for you.

My name is Dennis Bellamy and I was fortunate to have a pristine original 1983 Porsche 944 in my garage for many years only getting it out for a day trip on the Blue Ridge or a few local shows. By attending some Euro car shows I knew that I had a great survivor but unfortunately was rear ended and never got to display it in those euro shows .
From my research I soon found there was going to be a battle ahead, the insurance companies, were not able to replace the car. That's when I got in touch with Jeff Hyman at Classic Auto Appraisers in Costa Mesa CA. Getting the right appraiser is KEY when you get in this situation as well as before a problem strikes. Jeff Hyman's experience and patience got my settlement where I wanted it be and I once again have a Classic Porsche to Show and display. Remember classic cars are not made anymore so give Jeff a call as he's truly a professional.

Very rare Camaro Intimidator

The Intimidator edition Camaro was developed by Dale Earnhardt to be a modern version of the Yenko Camaro. Only 83 cars were made into Intimidator Editions. The first 2 vehicles were prototypes, PR-1 and PR-2. PR-1 was owned by Dale himself and was used to promote his Intimidator line. When Dale passed away, this vehicle was brought to the dealership showroom and sold to the current owner. PR-2 was originally given to Dale Earnhardt Jr., who still owns PR-2 to this day. The third prototype is a 2002 model that was built for Kelly Earnhardt and she also still owns that vehicle. The remaining 80 were numbered starting with #1.

PR-1 and PR-2 are the only 2 cars built with lowering shackles. PR-1 is also the car shown in the magazine pictorial. In addition, PR-2 no longer has its original engine. The original engine was ruined. That means that PR-1 is the only original Intimidator with lowering shackles.

Of the 83 cars only 22 were able to be signed before Dale Earnhardt’s death. The instrument clusters were removed, signed and put back in place.
